The winners are here!
After more than a year of preparations, nominations, coding, writing, primping, preening, and two jury rounds, we have finally arrived at the final announcement of the inaugural 2010 Canadian Weblog Awards.
Congratulations to all the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. We are proud to show off your mad blogging achievements. Thank you for doing Canada proud.
Huge thanks also goes out to all the jurors who volunteered their time and effort to make this juried award a reality. We are honoured to have such dedicated individuals to realize this vision.
If you are one of the high-quality winners, take your award button(s) and display them on your website as proof positive of your high quality. We're not fooling around when we tell you that you do good work.
Congratulations again, and a happy New Year!

Thrilled, honoured, excited!!! I have my badges proudly displayed. Thank you so much.
crazy talk I tell ya....also, this just means I need to post something new to get rid of the lube post. :p
Once again ... terrific job. The work must have been overwhelming at times, the behaviour of the nominees not always stellar, it would have been easy to throw your hands up in frustration. But you were always classy and respectful. Thanks for bringing a real sense of dignity to these awards. Congrats to all entrants.
I can only imagine how hard you worked on all of this Schmutzie! Thank you for the great honour! xo
I'm so excited to be a first-place winner! Thank you so much :)
And it's so nice to see all of these great Canadian blogs. I'm glad that you've put together these awards to recognize hard work!
Singing O Canada as I'm reading and feeling rather unfortunate to be an American. :-) I so love what you've done with these awards, Schmutzie. As you know I'm not big on most web awards because I think they tend to celebrate who has the most active and ambitious readers rather than who has the best content. I like that these selections were nominated and then juried, and even though my favorite Canadian blog (redneckmommy.com) didn't win, she was sure in some mighty fine company.
Bravo to you and everyone who worked so hard on this!
